Poppy 3 Hoodie

I love the time of year when the poppies are out in bloom. The large blooms are great subjects for still life and flower photography. The colours encourage me to get outside with my camera. This is a close-up of a poppy in my garden. This was shot from overhead to reveal the poppy head and the intricate floral patterns. Even with this, I can still find more poppies to photography close by when walking around my neighbourhood.
