Life By The River Nile Hoodie

The River Nile is more than a highway for river cruise boats - it really is the lifeblood of the valley. The people living in villages along its banks use it daily for washing themselves, their clothes and their household textiles. To the children of course it's a playground too! Much safer these days as since the constuction of the Aswan Dam there are no crocodiles here - they are all below the dam. The photograph has been given a chalk pastel finish.
