NGC 3324 is located in the constellation of Carina and is around 7200 light years from Earth. The area seen here is around 13.4 light years across. This image was obtained in 2006 and 2008, using HST's Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2) and the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS).
