Taken on a recent visit to Lancaster, Although I was born and lived until my early 20's in Lancashire, I never went to Lancaster until now (I'm in my 50's). Lots of interesting streets to walk down and this is an example. It is situated on the River Lune and has a population of 45,952. Long existing as a commercial, cultural and educational centre, Lancaster is the settlement that gives Lancashire its name.
