This image based on my photo taken at Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway is inspired by silkscreen design, campy paint by numbers, and the many national and state parks. Waterrock Knob is one of the highest peaks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s a good spot for a picnic and if everyone doesn’t want to walk up to the top, the picnic tables around the parking area offer a pleasant enough and a breeze view for those who don’t hike. Well that was a pleasant surprise. I painted this abstract mountain range as a background for my rabbit painting. This image based on my photo taken of Twin Falls is inspired by silkscreen design, campy paint by numbers, and the many national and state parks. Twin Falls is in the Eastatoe Valley in the northwest corner of South Carolina. The road into the valley is very curvy but paved. The hike follows the creek to the base of the waterfalls. It’s an easy hike, but the last little bit can be slippery so be careful. A stroller could make it part of the way, but not all the way to the falls. No picnic tables or bathrooms.
