These are Pink Finger Orchids - Caladenia Carnea. There are 3 different Finger orhids - white, pink and blue. The white ones and pink ones are still fairly common, but I haven't seen a blue one for over 10 years. I just hope they are not extinct.

The morning light begins to shine through my 40 year old plant to paint abstract shapes across the wall. The subtleties of light, reflection, line and shape called to me one morning on the way to breakfast and I thought I'd share them with you using a painterly treatment over the photo.
