I have great admiration and respect for cultures around the world, However one of my favorite cultures is that of my country, And for this reason I had the idea to make this shirt.

Mementos of the life and passions of the dead are often represented in elaborate reconstructions of a favorite activity or pastime, such as a day's outing to the beach in the car.

Day of the Dead altars typically feature skulls, marigolds, food, drinks and mementos of family members who have died.

Sometimes the Day of the Dead altar will represent how the deceased met their end, for example, in a car accident.

Marigolds are featured on most Day of the Dead altars. The flower is native to Mexico and is hardy and easy to grow so readily available.

Marigolds bring color and joy to the Day of the Dead Altar. The celebration is one of joy rather than sadness.

Favorite alcoholic drinks of the departed are featured in Día de los Muertos ofrendas (altars)

The fear of death is confronted head-on in the Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos. There is no covering up of the fact that our flesh falls away and we are reduced to bones and dust. Deceased family members are not represented in how they looked in life, but rather as how they now look as they rest in their graves.

I have digitally created this artwork with my favorite digital tools iPad Pro and apple pencil. I personally like the vibes of warmth the theme is about. I recommended this design to use for expressing your availability for humanity to make themselves feel good.
