LINDA (London Investigation 'N'Detective Agency) was a secret organization founded in early 2007, and broken up in the spring of that same year, due to all but one of its members being absorbed by an alien form. It was a society composed of five people: Elton Pope, Ursula Blake, Colin Skinner, Bridget Sinclair and Bliss. Although it was a group originally created and dedicated to finding out about the mysterious "Doctor", the members of the group soon bonded and it became as much a social club as a Doctor-investigating club, much to the annoyance of their future "leader", the mysterious Victor Kennedy.

The Doctor and Rose

After looking into the heart of the TARDIS, the Time Vortex itself filled Rose Tyler, who then temporarily became the Bad Wolf entity. She scattered the two words throughout time as a sign to herself that she was linked to the Doctor, creating a looped ontological paradox.

In Essex in 1138, the Twelfth Doctor anachronistically played his electric guitar through a Magpie Electronics amplifier on a tank in a medieval castle. (TV: The Magician's Apprentice) He later used this same amplifier on the TARDIS. (TV: Before the Flood) In 1953, the Wire contacted the owner, Mr Magpie, making him sell television sets cheaply as part of her plan to "take people's faces, their essences" and get a physical body. (TV: The Idiot's Lantern) Although Magpie himself was killed by the Wire, Magpie Electricals survived the loss of its proprietor, and continued to exist well past the 1950s.

Deffry Vale High School was a high school in London, England. It was infiltrated by the Krillitanes, who fed the children who attended the school with chips cooked in Krillitane oil, which gave the children's intelligence a significant boost. The Krillitanes hoped to use the super-intelligent children to crack the Skasis Paradigm, which would give the Krillitanes control over the very fabric of reality. Mysterious lights in the sky, as well as a spate of mysterious illnesses and incredibly high results brought the school to the attention of Sarah Jane Smith and Mickey Smith separately.

Satellite Five was a space station in Earth orbit circa the year 199,909. It was a hallmark of the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire, though the reputation that was built up about the satellite across time and space was not what it appeared to be. Satellite Five was deliberately framed in eyes of the public as an innocent technological vestige of humanity to turn their attention away from the ideas it could be subject to corruption, which let its controllers secretly manipulate Earth into a subservient dictatorship. It served as the centre of two major conflicts that threatened the welfare of the planet below, while the residents of Earth were never made aware of the truths behind the facade.

Betty White

Cybus Industries was a company that existed on an alternate Earth. As well as being an industrial corporation, they covered media, housing, technology, construction, finance, airships, and the health drink Vitex. It was used to create the Cybermen. It was created and run by John Lumic. Pete Tyler worked for Cybus Industries as a right-hand man for Lumic, after his Vitex company was bought out by Cybus.

This my first digital painting in a few years. It was inspired by the climax in the 'Parting of the Ways' of Doctor Who Series One. I think this might be the beginning of a series on the Doctor's Companions. Rose was a slow burner in most regards. I didn't like her the first couple times I tried watching Doctor Who. But by the end of Season one, especially at this moment, I loved her. Now it's difficult to imagine Doctor Who without Rose.
