Sand Dunes Hoodies

The lagoon located on the Costa Calma at the southern end of Fuerteventura is a tidal lagoon, separated from the sea by a sandbar. At very high tides and full moons the tide rises over the sandbar and floods the lagoon. Captured here on its last day before it returns to sandy beach

Druridge Bay in Northumberland is seven miles of beautiful beach between Cresswell in the south and Amble in the north and is almost deserted for much of the year. This image was taken on a fine, sunny February morning with the sandy beach under a blue sky and whispy clouds, which were reflected in the wet sand as the tide receded giving everything a lovely blue glow.

This is my watercolor and ink painting of the lifeguard station at the Ft. Walton Beach pier. The Island Pier, formerly known as the Okaloosa Island fishing pier. The pier is 1,262 feet long. This painting is part of my Florida Watercolor Collection.

LittleSable Point Lighthouse is located in Mears, Michigan south of Pentwater. It was constructed in 1874 and is one of the tallest lighthouse structures in the state at over 100 feet with 130 steps to climb to the top!

This art is inspired by a real place in our world and represents a sandstorm in the scorching Sahara desert.

This is my original artwork of a great blue heron, the largest North American heron, as it soars over the sand dunes of Cumberland Island, Georgia.The primary food for the great blue heron is fish - which they usually swallow whole. Their wing span is between 5 and 6 feet.

This photo was taken with my Nikon Coolpix P900 at Point Nepean Peninsula on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria Australia. Point Nepean has been utilised during wars and is also the last place where Harold Holt was seen. It is a beautiful part of Victoria, so beautiful that my husband and I were married there and love to visit on a regular basis.
