As a change of pace from his normal comedic actioners, Jackie Chan headlined in this serious action drama based on a real-life kidnapping. Chan won his second consecutive Best Actor honor at the Taiwanese Golden Horse Awards for his performance in CRIME STORY (no relation to his POLICE STORY series of films).

The warren beach at Folkestone is the one the tourist don't see, but the locals know. Its surrounded by natural scrubland, and that in turn is ringed by the white cliffs of Dover. Its a very natural place considering the size of Folkestone (Kent, UK) that lies just out of sight behind the viewer. In the distance is Samphire Hoe - a flat piece of land below the cliffs created from the spoil from digging the channel tunnel. This version is painted in oil on a 12 x 12 inch board, based on photos I've taken of the area.

Westgate is a medieval gatehouse in Canterbury, Kent. This 60-foot high western gate of the city wall is the largest surviving city gate in England. This scheduled monument and Grade I listed building houses the West Gate Towers Museum as well as a series of historically themed escape rooms.

This Waterman's Bushel Basket/Crab Basket Christmas Tree, shown here lighted at night in a simulated watercolor presentation, is found just east of Kent Island in Graysonville, Maryland. The Crab Basket Holiday Tree is for the benefit of the local Watermen's Association and has proven to be a popular attraction over the years.
