Every morning we are given another chance. I dedicate this piece to every morning of every day in our life. “Morning” is an original sumi-e brush pen painting/drawing . It is on heavy stock, textured white paper. Sumi-e is a ‘one stroke’ style of painting. I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese ‘sumi-e’ and chinese ‘shui-mo hua’ paintings. This painting is from my ‘Beauty of Bamboo’ series. I try to set my scanner to be as close as possible to the original color of the art piece.
