I decided to do a little painting of field mice in the cornfields. The cornfields provide the grain we need to make our daily bread. One of the most basic necessities we take for granted. We plant the seeds; we tender the seedlings and then wait for the grain to ripen so we can harvest it. The field mice can be found scurrying through the fields and swinging from the kernels with perfect balance and precision. Sharing in the harvest.
