Fun Trend Kids Hoodies

This is very probably inspired by my love of Wayne Thiebaud's amazing work.

Decided to play some more with colours. : )

Combining lots of my recent pattern work into one colorful patchwork design in all my favorite colors - one of my favorite things to do. : )

I made a painted & textured pattern of watercolor elements in a deep, cherry red, cream, teal & navy blue, then added further elements in orange.

A mixture of patterned ceramic-style tiles, watercolours, bright, intense colour, texture and decorative pattern with a touch of metallic gilt, this was really a lot of fun to create. For my inner bohemian. : )

Something about this pattern makes me think of wedgewood china... I love blue & white / pale blue & cream together. : )

A little less jade, a little more cobalt. : )

A birthday card - a hand drawn illustration coloured in Photoshop CS2 (many hours with a mouse... I think I need a tablet!) Textures my own.

Who knew sitting and painting shapes in pretty colors could be so much fun? : )

A hand drawn and painted floral pattern of retro / vintage-style purple flowers with a subtle canvas texture in desaturated purple, cream & brown tones.

I began this with a black ink pen and a piece of paper. Getting to this end result was a lovely, two day long journey of playing with colours and possibilities. I can't remember which way I went but I like where I ended up... (One of three colorways.) A decorative, Art Nouveau style pattern of flowers, leaves, tendrils and paisley.

The last color version of my pattern created using shapes drawn with colored pencils. This is my favourite. : )

Every time I walk out of my front door the fuchsias that grow there whisper and beckon, telling me to paint them, draw them, photograph them ... Maybe now they'll stop nagging and let me come and go in peace.

A pretty, pale, minty pattern of Moroccan tiles, warmed up by a touch of gold paint and wood.

I've been exploring a variety of styles lately, I guess it was inevitable that they would eventually get mixed up together. This is the second of two colorways. > An impressionistic style painted pattern of pink, red and white colored hibiscus flowers combined with hand drawn & painted doodle patterns against a soft blue background.

I like these colors together. : )
