George Orwell (1903-1950), novelist, essayist, journalist, and critic. Best known for his dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949) and Animal Farm (1945). The Times ranked him 2nd on the list of "The 50 greatest British writers since 1945"

The first true Grand National model, clad in the model's iconic gloss black with pretty much zero chrome trim, debuted in 1984 and was instantly hailed as a triumph of performance by the automotive press. Pumping out a then-stout 200 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, the rear-wheel drive, 3.8-liter turbo coupe blew the doors off just about everything on the road. The Grand National was a subtle sleeper, giving even the Italian supercars a run for their money... and winning almost every time. Despite high demand for these road rockets, the production number remained low before the plug was pulled, so they are still a hot commodity among car enthusiasts and collectors alike today.

The Dreadnoks are a fictional biker gang from the G.I. Joe universe who are affiliated with Cobra as shock troops, offering their mercenary services as subordinates of their leader, Zartan. All Dreadnoks are uncouth and violent, and usually engage their enemies with unconventional and creative (many times crude) weaponry. Most, if not all, have shown a particular taste for chocolate-covered donuts and grape soda. The Dreadnoks also make a habit of torturing captured enemies, usually in bizarre ways such as exposure to pain-inducing laughing gas or tossing victims into pools of man-eating piranhas. Their headquarters is a compound hidden somewhere in the Florida Everglades.

When I was a kid, me and my big family visited newlywed Auntie. It was 8 hours drive to a small town in the border of two provinces in Java. It was fun until my mom brought me to the nearest kiosk. I remembered I want some snack, so she bought me some. I impatiently to wait, I asked if I can go first and she asked me if I know the way. I was sure as the sun, only to find out that I’m lost. I kept searching but all of the houses are identical. I remembered looking for the familiar cars and their place but they were nowhere to be found. So I panicked, dropped down and began to cry until a familiar voice called my name. If not mistaken, it was my mom and whoever it was, it was my hero. "The Moon Under Water" is a 1946 essay by George Orwell, originally published as the Saturday Essay in the Evening Standard on 9 February 1946, in which he provided a detailed description of his ideal public house, the fictitious "Moon Under Water". It was Orwell's last contribution to the Evening Standard. Orwell admitted that "to be fair", he did know of a few pubs that almost came up to his ideal, including one that had eight of the mentioned qualities. The essay finishes: And if anyone knows of a pub that has draught stout, open fires, cheap meals, a garden, motherly barmaids and no radio, I should be glad to hear of it, even though its name were something as prosaic as the Red Lion or the Railway Arms.
