“The Day of the Dead” is a Mexican event where loved ones come together to do things like eat and tell stories about their ancestors. It’s a time for family and friends to remember those who have passed. There are a lot of customs in Mexico that outsiders may not be able to spot right away. For example, we often wear our favourite colours or eat traditional dishes like tamales and mole sauce. Halloween is mainly celebrated on the 31st, but some people also like to commemorate November 1st and 2nd. “Dead Day” refers to the day following Hallow’s Eve when people in some countries perform religious services for their deceased loved ones. Similarly, many traditions, such as praying and laying flowers on graves, are observed on this day.
