Sun Rise in the Subway Kids T-Shirt

Taken in Leeds West Yorkshire in 2017 This was early morning in one of the few subways that are left in the city. otherwise empty a homeless man had taken up residence for the night, presumably because the sub way offers a degree of shelter from the elements and in all likelihood because come rush hour the footfall past him would be extremely high. This image forms part of my Streets Of...... project, seeking to focus attention on the homeless and prompt us to perhaps think and give a little more than we might otherwise do so. One ironic element of this image, if you look close enough, is the Subway cup near to the mans head.
