Mountain Landscape

This is a digital art piece depicting an Asian Small-Clawed Otter climbing a fallen tree to observe its surroundings and check for any impending danger that may be present. These otters have short claws that don't extend beyond the pads of their webbed digits. They are the smallest otter species globally, with a total body length ranging from 730 to 960 mm (28.6 to 37.6 in).

Patterns and prints are so beautiful and I love feathers, so I decide I would draw some feathers and doodle them with fun patterns for that stand out appearance.

For quite some years this was my best work, only recently eclipsed. It shows a popular spot in the New Forest, Hampshire at a time when there was nowhere around. Here the river meanders lazily through the trees slowly changing so you can never find the same spot again. This view, captured in oil on board (20inches x 30inches), comes from Autumn - round about late October or early November. Khom Fai ✅ - In Thailand, sky lanterns known as khom loy or khom fai are sometimes released into the sky to mark special occasions because it is believed the lanterns carry away troubles and bad luck. Khom fai usually refers to the giant paper lanterns released in the daytime during Loy Krathong which are filled with smoke to make them rise into the sky and also have firecrackers or noisy firework ‘bombs’ attached to them. Khom loy are the more general sky lanterns released at night.
