Fingers crossed hand for good luck people who believe in it

The most lethal religion by far, is statism.  An estimated 262 million in the 20th century alone, and that doesn't even include war, which killed at least a hundred million more.  And governments give us perpetual war.  Without the state, what reason would I have to cross an ocean to kill someone I've never met before?  Freedom?  How did my freedom get all the way over there?

The Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine is, according to legend, a rich gold mine hidden in the southwestern United States. The location is generally believed to be in the Superstition Mountains, near Apache Junction, east of Phoenix, Arizona.

For those who are only somewhat superstitious.

A common superstition in many cultures particularly Mediterranean ones is the evil eye. The belief is that someone has cursed you just by looking at you in particularly through jealousy and through this some harm or malady will befall you. The prevention? A wicked looking eye reflecting the curse back. I don't know about that but hey it's a cool looking graphic anyway. As you know an ounce of prevention is worth a tonne of cure. I had completely forgotten about "the evil eye" until seeing a stall at the yearly Country Music festival held in Tamworth. This stall was run by a Turkish man and all he sold were evil eyes. Thousands of these eery blue talismans staring back out at me. Of course, I had to buy one.
