It has been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. When we keep voting in hopes that we can change the system, we delude ourselves into thinking that politicians are going to save us. We abdicate personal responsibility to people who claim to "represent" us. Voting strengthens the ruling class while disempowering individuals from creating their own freedom. The system itself is inherently evil and it's impossible for government to give us freedom. But we can take what is inherently ours by withdrawing support from the State, decreasing our dependence on corrupt corporations, and engaging in counter-economic activity (agorism). Power to the people, not the politicians!
