I wanted to make some more fun and cute. And I came up with my rendering of a Haida cat, since cats are so popular on the internet. It's frontal face view, which for me is always hard to get it right with the flow of the formline. Although I'm happy with the result, no doubt that I'll tweak it in the future. Due to my family in British Columbia, for instance Vancouver BC, Haida Formline art has been part of my life. The Pacific Northwest coast is a beautiful place where I spent some happy holidays and a couple of years ago I decided to learn some of its native art.
