Dartmouth is a beautiful little town in the South Hams area of Devon (UK). It sits on the river Dart (which is a ria - or drowned river valley), close to its mouth. It has a rich sailing heritage and many fine old buildings. This view shows the little harbour in the centre of the town with a couple of canoeists enjoying high tide. I've painted this in oil on a 20x16 inch board
