Memorial created by Margaret Worth on the foreshore at Victor Harbour, South Australia, Australia This memorial is to the meeting of Captain Flinders and Post Captain Baudin in Ramindjeri Ngarrindjeri waters. It presents three worlds and three cultures. The furthest pole in the colours of the Tricolore is topped by an anemomemter representing the means by which ships came from Europe. The central pole in the colours of the Union Jack is topped by a cartographer's arrow mounted above billowing sails to commemorate the meeting and the charting skills of Matthew Flinders.
