Allegory Long Sleeve T-Shirts

Angel of Death (detail) (1890) by Evelyn De Morgan is a vintage Victorian Era Pre-Raphaelite fine art featuring the Angel of Death coming for a beautiful young woman pleading for her life.

A friend of mine suggested the theme, and this is what I came up with.

Elisabetta Sirani (1638 – 1665) was an Italian Baroque painter and printmaker who died in unexplained circumstances at the age of 27. She was a pioneering female artist in early modern Bologna, who established an academy for other women artists.

A cartoon squirrel with a fierce expression stands ready to defend its pine cones, brandishing a bright yellow and red toy gun. The squirrel is adorned with a red bandana, and the scene is encapsulated within a circular badge that reads PROTECT YOUR NUTS. The backdrop features a pine tree and active lightning strikes, emphasizing the squirrels determination.

La Danse Macabre. Coloured engraving of a dance of death. The medieval engraving comprises a group skeletons dancing and playing musical instruments. These images were religion-based, as an allegory on the universality of death. Taken from The Book of Chronicles, by Hartmann Scedel, published in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1493.

Appearing in 1596, an allegorical image of an Eagle, representing the Holy Roman Empire, holding a cross - used to tout the wars against the Ottoman Turks.

The eerie glow from the deep signifies that there is still a soul under the rubbish and debris that represent the body. The soul fire has a serious chance to grow and engulf everything on its path. A perfect gift idea for those who like a good riddle and allegory.

Hearing allegory

oil on canvas, 60/60cm I cannot say that I did not plan this picture at all, but I definitely did not intend to include it in my stone series. Three years ago a 60x60cm canvas appeared at the request of a friend of mine. There should have been a bird, and by the way, it is there (inside, on the bottom two layers). But this bird from the bright underpainting never took a finished shape, it wished to remain ethereal. The order was cancelled and I decided this canvas will be the final in my astrological cycle and become the place for the SUN.
