The city of San Francisco has acquired a large group of vintage trolleys. They are operated and maintained by the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni), a service of SFMTA. Number 1061 was purchased from the city of Newark, New Jersey, the city from where I hail. It was a great thrill to ride the trolley car again.

Manny's Musical Instruments and Accessories, Inc., or more commonly, Manny's Music, was a New York City music store that claimed to have 'everything for the musician,' and from what we've heard, that was very true. Since opening their doors in Midtown Manhattan in 1935, Manny's amassed a client list of big names in the music industry and they adorned their walls with nearly 75 years of photos of artists and producers who frequented the store. Whether you were a local looking for your first guitar or a drummer in town on a national tour in need of a few new cymbals, Manny's was the place to go until they sadly closed their doors for good in 2009.

I took this photograph near the Siam Paragon mall at the BTS Siam stop in January 2019. Christmas decorations still adorned the trees and walkways beckoning the potential customers. A palm tree is covered with Christmas lights and the normal walkway is turned into a neon purple gem walkway. The Skytrain runs in the background transporting Thai people and visitors along the BTS Siam route through Bangkok. I've always found neon lights and the hustle and bustle of the city at night to be something electric, something that engages me in a way that it just doesn't during the day.
