Getting dressed is a chore. Light of any sort is a pain in the eyes and the head. Sitting in one position is imossible, but then standing for relief is no help either. Household chores take all day, imagine what it is like to actually hold a job. Most of us are unable to. But you keep swimming. You have to. Because the world doesn't see. Heck, most doctors don't see. So you just keep swimming. You are Strong As F@#$!!!!

A really amazing guy died last month. You probably did not know him. I didn't know him well enough. He loved riding his boke. He was kind beyond measure. He loved Hermann Hesse. He was my uncle and now that he is gone I am turning to books and authors he loved to stay in touch with him. I have an invisible disability and it keeps me home. (Ehlers Danlos, Fibromyalgia, POTS, and MCA) It keeps me lonely and frustrated. The incredible civil war between my body's limitations and my soul's needs and goals is one I will fight a long time. This quote makes me think of my uncle that maybe he understood what I am going through.
