FINALLY DECEMBER 2020 I HAVE FINISHED THE PAINTING ON CANVAS, AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED RESULT. There is only one street named Higher Shapter Street making it unique in Great Britain. This series features a few images taken during a morning stroll in the City of Comayagua. Comayagua is a colonial city in Honduras, some 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Tegucigalpa and sits at an elevation of about 1,950 feet above sea level. It is the capital of the Comayagua Department of Honduras, with a population of about 152,000 people. The city is noted for its wealth of Spanish Colonial architecture, and has become a national and international draw for tourism. It is on the list of The 30 Wonders of Honduras. Each week Comayagua receives almost 200 travelers interested in its colonial heritage. The following series are images taken while walking the streets of Lisbon, Portugal. Narrow streets and alleyways, cars parked on either side of the streets, little shops and stores, bars and restaurants, small churches, all can be found on any of these streets that are full of life and action any time of the day. This is an image of a small street that is littered with Tuk Tuks, small 3-wheeled motorized vehicles used mainly by tourists in the city. The drivers can be quite aggressive when it comes to soliciting tourists. One morning I decided to try one just for the experience. I am only a 150 lb guy and with my camera bag and tripod I barely survived the ride in the tight space in the back of these things. Needless to say, I e...
