The 113th Brigade Support Battalion since its assignment to the 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 38th Infantry Division, was originally approved for the 113th Medical Regiment, Kentucky and Indiana National Guard on 30 June 1926. In September 1942 it was redesignated for the 11th Medical Battalion, and again on 10 November 1992 for the 113th Support Battalion. Federally recognized in the Indiana Army National Guard, its current parent organization. It was redesignated as the t113th Support Battalion in 1993 and is now designated as the 113th Brigade Support Battalion, 75th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and is headquartered at Muncie, Indiana.
