Last November two friends and I went to New Zealand. One day while on the road looking for somewhere to eat, we ended up in the small town of Tirau. The first thing we noticed about this place was all the corrugated iron artworks around; there were signs, figures, sculptures, even whole buildings in the shape of a dog and sheep made of this material you would normally see only used in roofing. One of the figures that stood out to me the most was this fancy lady pukeko perched on top of a jewelry and clothes shop, so I had to draw her!
