Dragon Marker Number of views as of 4th March 2018 = 500. One of two 7 feet high cast-iron dragon sculptures, which were originally mounted above the Coal Exchange in Lower Thames Street (London, England) dating from 1849. When the Coal Exchange was demolished in the early 1960s, the dragons were moved to the Victoria Embankment where they were erected on plinths of Portland Stone to mark the boundary of the city of London. The shield depicts London's 'coat of arms'. Date: 9th March 2014.
