Horsemen Guarding Prang, Wat Arun Magnet

One of the most visited places in Bangkok is the Wat Arun temple complex, of which the central and four smaller prangs there are perhaps the most visually extraordinary structures. The prangs are encrusted with brightly coloured porcelain fragments and seashells, all arranged in the most intricate patterns. This image, captured on a wonderfully clear, cloudless day, is of one of the four smaller prangs, and shows two of the four horsemen that adorn its sides, sitting in portals, which appear to be guarding the prang.
