Proof of how smart spiders are! I was taking a macro shot of this Common Bird Orchid (Chiloglottis Valida) but I kept seeing these fine lines across the flower. None of my favourite reference books had it listed, so started to think it might be a weed - til I looked up Geranium in Flora Of Melbourne. There it was - Geranium Solanderi, or Austral Cranes Bill. The leaves look like Geranium, but the flowers are much smaller than the garden variety - very pretty though!
