Boston Pride Magnets

The lavender rhino was used as a gay rights symbol in Boston in the 1970’s. The rhino was chosen due to it being a gentle and misunderstood creature that fights ferociously when angered, and the heart represents love and the common humanity of all people. The original symbol lives on in the public domain as a historical symbol, and I put my own twist on it here.

Logo from the late great Cambridge gay nightclub Paradise, which existed through 2018 at 180 Massachusetts Ave. A beloved chapter in New England gay history, and much missed by its regulars. Great gift for Bostonians / Cambridge friends.
