Today she cut most of it off and posted it to CANSA (the South African Cancer Association) as a donation to be made into a wig for someone. Back to messing around with hexagons & geometry. This pattern / artwork is full of imperfections & irregularities that counter the mathematical structure it is based on.

This is a third colour version. The individual elements that make up this pattern were hand drawn with felt tip markers, scanned and then composed into a repeat pattern in Photoshop. It is kind of like completing a puzzle with infinite outcomes... so much fun.
