An image of wheat growing in a field, taken from the ground looking up. This was shot with a Nikon 1 J2 camera in RAW. I then produced two HDR images and blended them together to create the highlighted effect in the centre.

Gone are the days of the pinhole cameras ~ but when they were around ~ in the early days, they used to produce images like this... In the era and the advent of 'very early photography'... the idea of capturing a perfect image was unheard of, it was not 'quite as simple as point and shoot'... and it was all about ~ 'creating the Art!' It was about form, function, the essence of shape, texture, GRAIN ~ yes GRAIN..!!! I keep on hearing people in Camera Club banging on about there's no such thing as bad image only image... yes, I kind of agree, but also see that its based upon very fine quantified 'principles of photography'. To be frank and as I see it... that 'seldom many these days' truly capture... We can all take a pictu...
