National Theater de la Habana in Havana, Cuba Old Classic American cars lined up waiting for customers to use them as taxis from yesteryear. They are mainly used to ferry tourist around the city and beyond. This was taken on Central Square which is in Havana & is one of the best known and central sites of the city of Havana, Cuba. It is located between Prado, Neptuno, Zulueta and San José streets, and San Rafael Boulevard. Beautifully restored 19th century windmill at Praça do Moinho in the small village of Odiáxere near Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal. Photograph taken in April 2018 with a Canon EOS 60D DSLR. This adobe building in central Santa Fe, New mexico was built ca. 1618 (newer historical evidence has called a 1610 date into question) and was the site of the governors' administrations until 1910. While he was territorial governor in the late 1870s, Lew Wallace completed writing Ben Hur in this building. I thought converting the color to sepia gave it a better Southwest feel. Leica D-LUX 6

The North American B-25J “Mitchell” showed up at the 16th Oldtimer Fliegertreffen 2011 at the Hahnweide, near Kirchheim/Teck, Germany. It's actually a glider airfield with a grass runway which is reflected in the airplane. As always this air show event is quite fascinating. There are lots of historical airplanes taking part at the flight show. With some planes, like the legendary Junkers JU-52 or Antonov An-2 you can book round trips. The Key West lighthouse is located in Key West, Florida. The original tower was destroyed in a1846 hurricane, and a new lighthouse (seen here) was completed in 1848. It was 50 feet tall with 13 lamps in 21-inch reflectors, and stood about 15 feet above sea level. In 1858 the lighthouse received more lenses, and in 1873 the lantern was replaced after it was damaged by another hurricane in 1866. The growth of trees and taller buildings in Key West began to obscure the light, and in 1894 the tower was raised twenty feet, placing the light about 100 feet above sea level. The shape of the falls and the rounded rock face over which it flows cause it to resemble a horse's tail. All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
