Love Of San Francisco Magnets

Located in Contra Costa County, California, El Cerrito is part of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. With a population of around 26k people, El Cerrito is one of the smaller cities in the region, but for over 30 years, it was home to Armadillo Pizza, which was one of the town's undisputed favorite places to grab a bite. Their homemade dough and signature pizza sauce kept locals and out-of-towners coming back again and again, and if you couldn't make it in, their generous delivery area meant they could bring it to you, even a few towns over!

Mona's 440 Club was the first lesbian bar to open in San Francisco, California in 1936. It continued to draw a lesbian clientele into the 1950s. Mona and Jimmie Sargeant, a married couple, opened Mona's in 1934 on Union Street, taking advantage of San Francisco's liberal attitudes, endless supply of tourists, and the end of prohibition. In 1936, the couple moved the bar to a basement location on Columbus Avenue, but due to its exploding popularity and growth in patronage, the bar moved to 440 Broadway Street and was subsequently renamed Mona's 440 Club. One of the biggest draws to Mona's was their large variety of in house entertainment. Kay Scott and Babe Scott were part of the original group of entertainers to perform at Mona's 440 Club.

BAY VIBES ONLY - GOLDEN GATE

The original Lady Washington was built in the 1750's in Massachusetts. This is a full scale replica of the brigantine and was launched in 1989. You may have seen her in Pirates of the Carribean as HMS Interceptor. Whilst she has sailed Transatlantic, she is seen here, from the Municipal Pier, on a millpond like San Francisco Bay, California.

We have modified the Californian flag a bit, you know for the cat lovers out there.
