The driver and guard shook our hands and we quickly became acquainted. We decided to tie the bandits to their horses and turn them over to the law in Lexington. Cedric, Zeke, and Polly flew alongside to make sure nothing went wrong. Alfred and I hopped aboard the stage with the passengers.

While Captain Flynn directed his men with the task, long tentacles burst out of the water and wrapped around him pulling him in. "It's Nellie!" he cried. It was a cool, clear morn with a slight breeze that drifted ever so gently across the waters. Art by Duy Truong.................This is our first drawing in book seven of our Wurtherington Diary Series." Buffalo Bill and the Indians." Mark said he wanted to show me some magic tricks. I met him in his bedroom where he had it all set up. Of course I brought Cedric, Zeke, and Polly with me. He had a little stage set up and a banner that read, Mark the Magnificent. We all took a seat and he was quite amazing with the illusions. He was very insistent that he be called an illusionist which is a step up from being a magician. He did card tricks, mind reading, and then escaped from a pair of handcuffs. He saved his best trick for last when he disappeared in a puff of smoke and then walked in behind us through the door!

'Sentinel' is a photo-realistic, original, graphite pencil drawing depicting a meerkat apparently on sentry duty. I've never drawn one of these cute little Southern African mongooses before but was lucky enough to come across a wonderful reference photograph to use, which convinced me it was about time I did. I've kept the composition simple and uncluttered to give a sense of height and space.

She hummed as she picked," La la la la, la la. I pick flowers for my mama." I could see she was as ugly as the rest, covered with hair like that. There was something human about her though, while she sang and gathered flowers. The others must have had a sudden change of heart. "Ahh!" They all sighed. "She's ugly and cute at the same time. One of us should go out there." "You are kidding?" "You go." "Not me." "I'm not going." "This was Tammy's idea" They all looked at me. YesI was the one who got us into this mess.
