My illustration for the Year of the Water Rabbit 2023. I drew in the goldfish on the skull for good luck and the water rabbits to symbolize this Chinese New Year. I use a lot of Memento Mori themes in my work. Aside from the fact that I think skulls are cool, I think it's good to be reminded that life is short so we need to make the most out of it and hopefully with good luck and good health on our side.
