A pop art style pattern of New Zealand birds and kiwiana. This vector pattern has kiwi, weka, takahe, pohutukawa, kowhai and much more.

When the moon is coming just above the horizon it is a bit too dark being in the shadow of the Earth and then when it gets too high it loses it's redness being fully lit by the sun. You have to capture the moon whilst it is in a narrow zone not too low to the horizon and not too high above it.

What could be more epic than a dolphin rocketing on top of a giant wave with a perfect sunset and a UFO into the mix?

This shot was taken nowhere in particular, just by a large pond on the road from Christuchurch to Lake Tekapo. I wish I had more information, but the driver just said 'does anyone want to stop and take a photo?' Of course we said yes...it was an unscheduled stop, we were there just a few minutes, and it ended up one of my favourite photos of the tour.

Sea turtles are beautiful but endangered creatures that deserve our protection. This design is also tribute to a traditional art form of many Pacific Islands that features striking designs and simple colors painted onto tapa cloth.

Going back to my roots drawing the little things from the garden along with elements of traditional New Zealand Maori and Pacific art styles.

Three native parrots of New Zealand

Inspired by the beautiful tapa cloth art (traditionally painted onto the beaten inner-bark of the paper mulberry tree). This is my take on this wonderful art form, featuring 2 icons of the Pacific region - sea turtles & hibiscus flowers.

A whimsical look at some of the friends - animal and vegetable - you might find in a typical New Zealand garden. I love seeing the cheeky little piwaiwaka (fantails) fliting among the trees outside my window.
