A reminder of the ever growing problem of plastic pollution. Not only does plastic pollutes our ocean and kills the ocean creatures, but it also finds its way into our body in the form of micro plastic from the seafood and sea salt we consume.

It's already in your food, might as well season it a bit more! We're all made of star stuff....and microplastics...

This design is to raise awareness of habitat loss, pollution, and manatee preservation.

Sustain the Sea is a local environmental organization that strives to keep beaches clean in Santa Cruz, California through cleanups. The meaning behind the logo is that the wave represents our goal of protecting the ocean, the shark fin demonstrates the importance behind a species that is currently frowned and feared upon, and the kelp is there because it has such a vital role in the ecosystem of the Monterey Bay.
