This old male tree stands tall and proud, with a commanding presence that exudes authority and wisdom. Its bark is rough and weathered, and its branches stretch out far and wide, as if reaching for the sky. It is a true tycoon of the desert, having survived for generations through sheer strength and resilience. Despite its age, it remains timeless and enduring, a living testament to the power of nature and the importance of perseverance.

This impressive tree stands tall and proud, her bark rough and gnarled with age. She is an Effin Awesome Gnarled Matriarch, a wise old lady of the forest who has stood the test of time and witnessed the passing of many generations. Her branches are twisted and knotted, each one telling a story of the storms she has weathered and the triumphs she has celebrated.

This towering tree stands tall and proud, its tattered trunk a testament to its age and resilience. The trunk seems almost otherworldly, as it appears to grow out of a solid rock, with a mysterious door right in the middle. The tree is like a lord ruling over its rocky domain, the surrounding landscape barren and desolate.

This tree stands out among the others in the forest, her trunk broad and majestic, her branches reaching high into the sky. She is an Effin Awesome Grandiose Grandame, a regal old lady who commands respect and admiration from all who behold her.

As you stand in awe of this Effin Awesome Sturdy Sentinel, you can't help but feel a sense of comfort and protection. He is a steadfast presence, a beacon of stability in a world that is ever-changing. His branches reach high into the sky, providing shade and shelter to all who seek refuge beneath them.

Acrylics on stretched canvas , 100 cm x 100 cm. I just recently completed this commission for a client who had previously bought another of my paintings. They wanted something similar to 4 other paintings I had done; Tree of Life, Night Spirits, Mermaid and Clown Fish. After I showed them my concept drawing, they said they were happy for me to do this , but I should also feel free to allow inspiration to take over as they wanted an original work, rather than a copy. I couldn't be more happy with the resulting painting, and so were the clients.

In the heart of an ancient woodland, where time weaves its enigmatic tapestry, stands the revered 'Tree of Wild Whispers.' From its gnarled trunk, nature's mystic hand has sculpted the visages of the four guardians: the bear, the loon, the moose, and the deer, each a sentinel spirit bound within the arboreal sanctuary. The branches, adorned with ethereal vines, entwine a tale of the untamed, where the essence of the wild creatures converges in a silent, eternal dialogue. Amidst the dappled sunlight, this venerable tree murmurs secrets of a bygone era.

World Tree

The salamander represents immortality, rebirth, passion, the ability to withstand flames, also the psyche, and spirituality. The snake was often considered one of the wisest animals, being interconnected to the afterlife and immortality. They  represent fertility and creative life force, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, and healing.  Serpents are guardians of temples and other sacred spaces. They are connected with venom and medicine, and have the power to either heal, kill or provide expanded consciousness and even the elixir of life and immortality through divine intoxication.

The Norse tree of life is a large ash tree named Yggdrasil the world tree, which connects the Nine Worlds and is the center of the cosmos. Yggdrasil is also the tree where it's said that Odin sacrificed himself … to himself. Citation. Yggdrasil represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth.
