Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington is New Zealand's capital city. Best known for: - its windy weather - "Wellywood" with it's deep connection to Peter Jackson's 'Lord of the Rings' movies - the most southern capital city in the world There is a lot to see in Wellington!

BUFFALO - WE HAVE A PROBLEM

Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby.

Liverpool Albert Dock at night with the famous amphibious craft in the foreground. The yellow duckmarine craft are WW2 landing craft converted for tourist sightseeing trips across the water and around the city. This came to an end after one sunk in 2013 and the company has never regained its licence to operate them - will make an interesting print and story.

Swansea Pop

As the sun sets on Lake Washington, most people start heading home and ducks find their resting spots for the night. The industrious sand castle builder, though, stayed late to enjoy the sunset and keep building his sand castle and sand fort. A few ducks still linger in the last few rays of the sun.

The final coat of paint has been applied to a new version of a World War I ‘dazzle ship’ on the Liverpool waterfront. The dazzle technique was used in WWI to confuse enemy ships and U-boats as to the manoeuvres of Allied vessels. It was great to be able to walk down and see her today as part of the Mersey River Festival and WW1 commemorations taking place on the waterfront. The Riverwalk is the perfect combination of history, beauty, and culture, so come and take a stroll along the one mile long wooden walkway that follows the borders of the Cape Fear River and which provides plenty of unparalleled vistas along the way. Evening falls and the crows murmur around Kenmore, coming to roost on the Sammamish River and near Lake Washington. This scenic lakefront town, not far from Seattle, Washington is a favorite evening roosting spot for crows, especially during the fall and spring.

These great vintage ice cream vans are parked up for the winter near the Albert Dock in Liverpool. They still add a lovely splash of colour though:)
