The Australian Wood Duck is also known as the Maned Duck or the Maned Goose. It is found in grasslands, open woodlands, wetlands, flooded pastures and along the coast in inlets and bays. It is also common on farmland with dams and in urban parks. Some of these ducks are often found near the marina outside Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre in Drummoyne, a suburb in Sydney's Inner West.

Odds and ends along the wooden wall that houses the firewood for the farm on the Maverick in Austria. The wooden chopping block gets good use and the flowers are a backup for the flowers that adorn the many windows and balconies on the farm, all waiting their turn to come. I spotted this butterfly whilst on holiday at the Lizard, but you'll find them all over the country, often in the margins of woodland or even in the woods themselves. The original oil painting on board is 12inches by 10 inches.
