Murder hornets, better known as, asian giant hornets have recently come in to the news cycle. The fear factor was immediately ramped up in the news with little justification. Though the hornets are capable of taking a human life, it is very unlikely that this would occur unless provoked. The hornets are of great concern to the honey bee population, they are known to kill entire colonies in short time by decapitating the honey bee victim.
