The Billings Volcanos were an American basketball team based in Billings, Montana that was a member of the Continental Basketball Association from 1980 to 1983. From 1979-80, they were called the Hawaii Volcanos. The team name is spelled "Volcanos," even though the proper plural spelling for volcano would be "volcanoes."

They truly could be the best athlete to ever live, and surely we should celebrate that.

The Billings Volcanos were a minor league basketball outfit in the Continental Basketball Association for three seasons from 1980 to 1983. The franchise started out in Honolulu in 1979 where the club first gained its misspelled name. The team moved across the country to Billings after only one season in Hawaii.
