The Chapel of Saint- Hubert at Amboise that houses the remains of Leonardo Da Vinci. It was built between 1491 & 1496. Being a huge fan of Leonardo Da Vinci this place was very special to me. Canon 5D MkIII Amboise, France. I found the trees odd but fascinating. Apparently the pruning method to create a dense mass of branches is called pollarding. The purpose of this heavy pruning is to restrict the growth so that the tree doesn't outgrow it's space & also to strengthen it in the event of storms & snow.
