She had decided that life was much more fun when she believed in MAGIC, so she brought that magic back into her life (and art). The first Animal of Inspiration was born through Mellie’s first card swap — although not yet by that name. Mellie created a character using Sharpie and Peerless watercolors, then felt compelled to add the words, “You have magic. Share it.” Because we all DO have magic, you know. Children know it.
