Started this chalkboard app drawing on my phone while I was sitting with mom at the hospital and she was sleeping. Added in the boat, birds and starfish to finish it up after she recently passed away. The starfish is a nod to my starfish lady, Susie Davis. When I was 4 our ward (ie. congregation) went on a trip to the beach. She found me in tears at the edge of the water over a starfish in the sand. When she asked me what was wrong, I replied, "it's dying!" So she picked it up for me and threw it as far and as hard as she could back into the water. She used to remind me of the event fondly and call me her starfish girl.
