Trees & Ocean

We went to Ravello on our trip to the Amalfi Coast and ended up at beautiful Villa Cimbrone. A promenade starts at a big wooden door and ends overlooking the ocean. Along the way one walks under bridges that connect the gardens. Baskets are placed as garbage pins and the weather has taken care of the paint on the walls... Here the change in colors resulted in an alien face. August 2016, iphone 6.

We just love this area in Italy. So rewarding to come down to one of the many villages after an exhausting hike, this time from the Sentieri deli Dei, to find an amazing restaurant with home cooking and the most incredible meals. Here we were almost done with our hike, legs hurting and all, gazing through a fence to see the houses climbing up a hill opposite us. We (as we know where to look) could even see our room and hotel... waiting with a nice refreshing drink and pool... only a few more stairs, up and down, away. August 2016. Iphone 6.
