illustration from London Pictures in pen & pencil published in 1890. The market was moved to the Isle of Dogs from Billingsgate Wharf in 1982. In its original location in the the 19th century it was the biggest fish market in the world. The movement of fish then was limited to licensed porters only. A role dating back to Henry VIII, but this was ended in 2012. I saw this restaurant specializing in fresh fish near the South Street Seaport in New York. I was drawn to it quaint look which seemed to so typically represent the East River waterfront area of Manhattan.

The large 1940s era Loback Meat Co. sign that spans the aisle of the main arcade in Seattle's Pike Place Market is well known by locals and tourists alike as you simply can't ignore its beautiful vintage neon glow as you make your way through the market. While the sign is still there decades later, the butcher shop itself, however, did not persevere. Opened in 1946, Loback’s was one of several butcher shops at the Market, selling specialties such as homemade sausages, goose, and luau pigs in addition to the more standard fare of steaks and hams. After a 40 year run, they closed their doors in 1986, and two separate attempts to revive it failed, closing for good in 1989. Nowadays, the historic space is filled by a jelly and chocolate shop.

Trask was an estuary moon orbiting the gas giant Kol Iben. The Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin took a job to transport a passenger and her spawn to her husband, who had settled on Trask as it was the only world hospitable to their species. As they came into the atmosphere, Djarin had to manually land the Razor Crest with no guidance and crashed into the shallow sea. He paid a Mon Calamari a thousand credits to fix his ship as he entered the port town. Djarin reunited "Frog Lady" with her husband before entering the local inn. He paid a Mon Calamari server in Calamari Flan for information on his kind. He was directed to a Quarren, who offered him passage to meet a group of his people.

Trask was a black market port, and its population consisted mostly of Mon Calamari and Quarren. It featured a series of landing platforms and an inn where chowder was served. There was a rule for departing ships against ascending into the upper atmosphere inside the harbor zone.

Suspicious of drug baron Virgil "The Turk" Sollozzo and his dealings with the Tattaglia family, Don Corleone orders Brasi to feign dissatisfaction working for the Corleones and convince Sollozzo that he is willing to work for him as a means of gathering information. Don Philip Tattaglia then arranges a meeting between Brasi and Sollozzo. Sollozzo, not fooled by the ruse, has Brasi strangled to death with piano wire.
